THE ATLAN CHRONICLES

A series of unexplained deaths threatens to de-stabilize the well-ordered design of the alien atLan to accelerate the culture and technology of the Bronze Age peoples they have gathered on an island colony. Endelor, of the majority Tah tribe, has been groomed by his mother and the atLan to succeed her as leader of the colony, only to find that he must contend with Danae, a former princess from the remnant of a warrior people, the K’dari, that the atLan have introduced into the colony. He discovers that Danae has used subterfuge and murder to lead the K’dari into a rebellion against the atLan. Endelor’s own aspirations to leadership are tested, not only because he has close ties to the atLan, but because his wife is K'dari - and so too is the woman he loves.
